All About Ms. Langdorf
I am delighted to be your teacher this year! You would probably like to know a little about me. I come from a great family! In addition to two wonderful parents I have three sisters- Jennifer, Sarah and Karen. I wished we lived closer together. Jennifer lives in North Carolina, Sarah lives in Washington D.C. and Karen lives in Arizona. My parents are living in Texas. My father was in the Army and we moved around a lot when I was younger. I was born in Germany and have lived in Georgia, Virginia, California, Colorado, Arizona, Virginia (again!), New York and the Netherlands. I went to the University of Arizona and studied Elementary Education. After I graduated I taught fourth grade in Vail, Arizona for 6 years. I think fourth graders are the best. When I moved up to Utah this summer, I knew I wanted to teach 4th grade again. I am very pleased I was able to find an open position at Gourley Elementary, but I am a little nervous about the cold winters! I am currently working on my master's degree in Instructional Media from Wilkes University. This means that when I am not teaching, I am studying. I really enjoy being a student and love learning about the technology I can use in my classroom. When I have free time I enjoy reading and playing the piano and flute. I also enjoy traveling to visit my family- especially my adorable nephews and niece. I don't have any pets, but would love to have a dog someday.
